Optimizing and previewing during export

The Export Preview dialog box displays all of Fireworks optimization controls, as well as up to four previews of the exported image. The Options panel of the Export Preview dialog box contains all the optimization controls found in the Optimize panel and Color Table panel. Options in the Export Preview's Animation panel are also in the Frames panel.

In addition to optimization controls, the Export Preview has unique uses. For example, the Export Preview appears when setting custom optimization settings during a batch process, or when launching Fireworks from within Dreamweaver to optimize or edit an image placed in Dreamweaver.

For more information on optimizing images, see Optimizing in the workspace.
